We discuss the Student Handbook so you are clear about your rights and responsibilities as a student. We provide an introduction to New Zealand society, including information about the Treaty of Waitangi, the agreement signed in 1840 between Maori and the British government. International students are reminded what they must do to meet the requirements of Immigration New Zealand





Student Services
Imperial College of New Zealand provides learning support and student advisory services to assist learners in achieving their learning goals and personal development. We recognise that international students needs while studying away from their home country. At Imperial, we maintain internal and external support systems that are current and relevant to the student cohort and population. Imperial has a Student Support officer to provide support services to our international students.
Useful Information
Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment.
